Matthew Milliner, author of The Everlast People, will share a lunchtime talk on his book. What does the cross of Christ have to do with the thunderbird? Milliner will explore the role of faith in North American Indigenous art. He will give special attention to the history of the Lincoln Square area and the northside of Chicago.
Community Space
Welcome to the Community Space @ LSPC! Our hope is to provide a place where we can all gather to seek the good of the neighborhood and Chicago through listening to one another, learning together and generous discussion.
We partner with various community groups to provide a broad mix of lively and informative programming such as film screenings, educational talks, book discussions and more. These events are free and open to the public. Please join us for one of our upcoming events!
