Reading the New Testament in 2023

One of the primary means of encountering God and his grace is through reading Scripture. This year, we invite you to embrace the goal of reading through the New Testament. Start on January 1 or join anytime in the year! If you start but miss some days, re-start on the current date.

Reading Schedule: Following a resource from Nav Press, we are offering a schedule in which you read a chapter a day, 5 days a week. Also, the schedule rotates through the various genres of the New Testament.

To follow the Reading plan, either:

Access the Nav Press page with the 5x5x5 reading schedule, or

Use the reading schedule below (we will update this schedule each month)

Prayer of Illumination: Lord, open my heart and mind by the power of your Holy Spirit, that I may hear what you are saying to me in your Word today. I do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from your mouth, so make me hunger for this heavenly food, that it may nourish me in the ways of life; through Jesus Christ, the bread of heaven. Amen.
